Marjorie Norman Schwarz (b. 1972, Harvey, IL) received her BFA from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX (1999). Schwarz’s recent solo exhibitions include Ode in Nine, 12.26, Dallas, TX; (2025); Stills, 12.26 (2024); A Walk on Moss, Massey Klein Gallery, New York (2023); with additional exhibitions at SOCO Gallery, Charlotte, NC (2022); 12.26 (2020 and 2021); Culture Hole, Dallas, TX (2018); Goss Michael Foundation, Dallas, TX (2015); Dutton, New York (2015), among others. Recent group shows include Cabinet Pictures at The Power Station, Dallas (2025); Chilli Art Projects, London (2025); Dallas Invitational, 12.26, Dallas (2025); PRP Dallas/Kate Art Space, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (2024); Chateaux Show, Dallas, TX (2023); The Valley Taos, NM (2023); among many others. Schwarz was featured in Texas Artists: Women of Abstraction at the Art Museum of South Texas, Corpus Christi, TX (2022). Her work resides in the permanent collections of the Dallas Museum of Art and the San Antonio Museum of Art. Schwarz currently lives and works in Dallas, TX.
